The original program featured a series of clips from various horror films that were superimposed on a model haunted house with the voice of Fireman Frank (Ron Ross) saying "Welcome to Nightmare Theater". KCPX was an ABC affiliate in Salt Lake City that later became KTVX and they aired Nightmare Theater every Friday night at 11:30 p.m. I don't think there's ever been any mention of the horror hosts on KCPX's Nightmare Theater that ran from the mid 1960s through the late 70s.
